The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam is available in two versions. Internet-based (The TOEFL iBT ) Test which is administered using computers and can be taken at a testing center or online at home (The TOEFL iBT Home Edition), and the Paper-delivered Test ( TOEFL PBT) – offered in selected locations.

Candidates are tested in their ability to communicate effectively using the four language skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. I undertook a 2-day crash course with PTTRS in preparation for the TOEFL iBT exam. This was in preparation of my admission for a Doctorate program. During this time, we had an opportunity to ask questions about the exam and know how to make strategies to score the best results in the exam. We studied in depth what is expected of candidates in each of the four sections, Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Although the training was intensive, our facilitator was patient and also gave us resources to use in practice. On the day of the exam, I was availed with a computer in excellent working condition. My results were sent a few days later and I am very delighted about my score. I thank the team at PTTRS for the excellent work they are doing, and I recommend that candidates for the TOEFL should contact PTTRS in their preparation.
